31st OBSERVER-MOBITEL Schoolboy Cricketer of the Year awards
presentation at the BMICH. Yes, September 1 will be a memorable day
at the BMICH for all the winners of awards at the ceremony that has
been held yearly to recognise the effort of schoolboys in the school
cricket season.

India bags Nehru Cup
The hosts India kept the Nehru Cup beating Syria
five goals to four in a tie breaker system introduced after the
final ended in a one all draw. Indians scored a goal with five
minutes left in the extra time, but Syrians equalised with only 30
seconds before the whistle which sent the teams for the tie breaker.
The first half ended in a goalless draw.
