President will win next election with unprecedented majority - JNP Leader

President Mahinda Rajapaksa will win with an unprecedented large majority at the next Presidential election and the Opposition fearing the ignominious defeat they would face have now started a new slogan claiming they do not want a Presidential election, JNP Leader Wimal Weerawansa told the Daily News yesterday.

He also said that the UPFA would get more than 80 percent votes from all the districts in the Southern Provincial Council election and the Opposition would have to face their worst defeat polling much less than in the recent Uva Provincial Council elections losing more seats than ever before.
