SLC to launch investigation

Sri Lanka Cricket has decided to launch a full scale investigation into the incidents that took place before the start of the Twenty20 International match between the touring Pakistan team and Sri Lanka at the R. Premadasa Stadium on Wednesday.

Head of Marketing Sri Lanka Cricket Charith Senanayake denied reports that SLC had sold excessive match tickets and is expected to produce a report shortly following the completion of the investigation which will be headed by the newly appointed SLC Security Officer Major General (Retired) Lawrence Fernando.
