Beruwala mosque attack suspects to be produced on August 6

Suspects in connection with recent attack on a Mosque in Beruwala in which two persons died have been remanded by the police, Police Spokesman SSP Ranjith Gunasekera told the Daily News yesterday.

The suspects will be produced before the Kalutara Megistrate on August 06. Meanwhile a press conference organized at Hotel Nepon Colombo yesterday by authorities of Beruwala Jumma Mosque, to explain the current situation was abruptly called off. No reasons were given.
