Australia do not have same aura, says Strauss

Australia do not have the same aura about them as recent dominant teams from Down Under, England captain Andrew Strauss said on Wednesday. England lead the Ashes series 1-0 going into the third test at Edgbaston starting on Thursday and Strauss said the Australians were not as intimidating as they once were.

Layton Cup finals today

Three boxers from Slimline BC made their way to the finals of the 67th Layton Cup Boxing Championships yesterday at the Sugatadasa Indoor Stadium. Meanwhile two other boxers from the Navy also gained entry to the finals which will be worked off today at the same venue. At the time of going to press, meet was in progress.
