President served all sans discrimination - Minister Bathiudeen

President Mahinda Rajapaksa has served all three ethnic groups of the country without any discrimination.

His policy was to create an atmosphere where all three communities could live together in peace, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Minister Rishard Bathiudeen addressing a group of youth at Veppamkulam, Vavuniya, said yesterday.

He said the President had taken the initiative to free the Tamil people from the terrorists and was now directing his efforts at developing the North under the Uthuru Wasanthaya so that the resettled people of the North would be able to resume their normal ways of life and engage in their former means of livelihood without any restriction or obstacles.

Therefore the people of the North and East and in other parts of the country should corporate with the UPFA and strengthen the hands of the President Mahinda Rajapaksa to make our country a developed nation, he noted.
