Coinciding with the historical Kandy Esala Perahara pageant, Consy Gunatilleke, a popular artist holds her Portals of the Greenery World, exhibition.

The exhibition is now on at the Queens Hotel.

This is called Pottpun, where she blends a various natural forms - using leaves of the teak tree.

Though flowers and leaves has the inherent quality of impermanence in the world of environment, they are to be admired so as to give a feast to your heart and mind this is Consy's view.

The products of the exhibition using leaves in various forms and designs make your eyes, worth their sight.

There are special greeting cards immersed in fragment oil in packets of tea.

These cards speak themselves of the seasonal feelings. Two dancers are depicted showing their inborn feats in Kandyan dancing. They do not cost much.
