Elegant craftsmanship
The National Awards for Handicrafts - Shilpa 2008, organized by the
National Crafts Council together with the Ministry of Rural Industries
and Self-Employment Promotion was held at the Folk Theatre in
Battaramulla on April 3. Prime Minister Ratnasiri Wickramanayaka along
with Minister of Rural Industries S.B. Nawinna and Minister of Rural
Industries Premalal Jayasekara graced the occasion. Daily News
