SB's jungle brigade

UNP Chief Ministerial candidate S. B. Dissanayake said he has a jungle brigade of 100 persons and will use it to tame those who attempt to harass our people, by punishing them by entering their houses from the backdoor at night."

Addressing a public rally in Kandy on Saturday, Dissanayake said this brigade are aware of incidents where the UNPers are harassed.

"I ask the SLFP and JVPers to conduct this election without intimidation. I know how to treat those who don't accede to my request," he said.

Parliamentarian Gayantha Karunathilake, Central Provincial Council UNP candidates Sriyanee Daniel and Chanaka Ilepperuma were also present at the meeting.
