Kegalle NCC Kabaddi champs
The Inter-Battalion Kabadi Tournament 2008 of the National Cadet
Corps was held at the NCC Training Centre, Rantembe recently under the
guidance of Major General Gamini Jayasundara the Director National Cadet
Corps.

Addressing the gathering chief guest Major General Gamini Jayasundara
said that the country needs patriotic citizens today. "Our heroic forces
are fighting to save the motherland and you must give them the fullest
cooperation to overcome this disastrous menace," he added.
He stressed everyone to be alert and vigilant to avert any possible
terror attack. "You must be alert and vigilant when your are on the road
or travelling by bus.
The Major General noted that Air and Naval wings were established
last year by the National Cadet Corps on the direction of Secretary of
Defence Ministry Gotabaya Rajapsksa. "We do all these activities to make
children healthy. Presently we are having a brave and good leader, under
his leadership, the waging war will come to an end in the near future".
