Troops take Nedunkerni
Division 57 repulse LTTE counter offensive:
The strategically important town of Nedunkerni,
an LTTE stronghold in the Mullaitivu district was liberated by
troops of the Task Force four of the Sri Lanka Army yesterday,
Military spokesman Brigadier, Udaya Nanayakkara said.

Another Sakvithi bared
Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment (SLBFE)
sleuths has bared a major scam similarly to the Sakvithi scandal
related to the foreign employment recruitment with the detection of
an islandwide network run by a millionaire businessman, who had
swindled millions of rupees from unsuspecting job seekers, with the
promise of lucrative jobs abroad.
