Nalanda College skippered by Thilina Ratnasena recorded a close two run first innings win over Prince of Wales in a schools under 13 division one second round match at the Prisons grounds Borella.

Nalanda 143 in 54.4 overs (Thilina Ratnasena 30, Lahiru Wijeratne 51, Harshana Saparamadu 14, S. R. Vidanawasam 3 for 15, P. J. V. Pieris 4 for 27).

Prince of Wales 141 in 41.2 overs (B. A. C. Mendis 14, S. S. P. Silva 53, S. R. Vidanawasam 51, Thineth Jayatileka 2 for 26, Avishka de Silva 2 for 40, Malinga de Silva 4 for 39).
