Honorary titles

Honorary titles were conferred on Professor Sulat Shivaraksha of Thailand and Professor Dharmachari Lokamitra of India in recognition of their long service to the advancement of the Sri Sambuddha Sasana at a ceremony held under the patronage of Ven. Dauldena Gnanissara, Mahanayaka of Sri Lanka Amarapura Maha Sangha Sabha at the BMICH.

Members of the three Nikayas including Aggamaha Panditha Kotugoda Dhammawasa, Anunayaka and member of the clergy were also present. The event was organised by the Sri Lanka Branch of the International Buddhist Congress.
