St. Joseph's College fell short by just three wickets from an outright victory as they took major honours in their inter school under 19 cricket tournament match against Thurstan College which ended in a draw at Stanley Wijesundera Mawatha yesterday.

St. Joseph's: 232 and 127 for 7 decl (S. Kankanamthantri 31, C. Kumara 25, S. Perera 29 n.o, P. Arthavindu 6 for 36)
