The Nation Building Ministry yesterday provided 15 bulldozers to the Sri Lanka Army under the rehabilitation programme of road network, irrigation and tank renovation in cleared areas at the Galle Face. The Ministry Secretaryhanded over Keys of the vehicles to Presidential Senior Advisor Basil Rajapaksa MP and Northern Development Committee Chairman Minister Douglas Devananda who in turn, handed them over to Chief of Staff Major General Nissanka Wijesinghe. Western Province Governor Alavi Mowlana, Deputy Ministers Suresh Vadivel, Ameer Ali and Sarath Kumara Goonaratne were also present. Picture by Chaminda Hittatiya
