Lankan women boxers win bronze

The Sri Lanka women's boxing team put up a pleasing performance to win three bronze medals at the IBA Asian women's boxing championships concluded in New Delhi yesterday.

Anusha Kodituwakku, Nilmini Jayasinghe both from Slimline BC and A. A. Nilanthi from Sintesi BC did well to reach the semifinals of their respective bouts which assured them of a bronze medal each.
