SLAF Fighter jets pounded a LTTE gathering point
2.5 km north of Vannerikulam tank area around 4.10 p.m. yesterday.
These air strikes were in support of the troops on the kilinochchi
battlefront, Air Force spokesperson Wing Commander Janaka
