Kandamby (128) guides Lanka 'A' to victory
Skipper Thilina Kandamby hit an unbeaten century to guide Sri Lanka
'A' to an exciting four wicket victory in the fifth and final one day
international against South Africa 'A' worked off at the Willowmoore
Park, in Benoni on Sunday.
Man of the match Kandamby remained unbeaten on 128 inclusive of one
six and 13 boundaries as Sri Lanka 'A' overtook South Africa's
formidable total of 294 runs with ten deliveries to spare.
Rangana Herath also struck an unbeaten 88 from 76 deliveries with
nine boundaries and provided excellent support to his captain with an
unfinished seventh wicket stand of 203 runs.
Sri Lanka 'A' also clinched the five match series 4-1 after having
earlier lost the unofficial test series one nil.
