Alpha elevates Customer Service with ACE

The Alpha Customer Experience (ACE) programme, which is aimed at
improving the level of customer service and creating a memorable
shopping experience, was launched by Alpha Orient Lanka in Colombo, this
is a region first by Alpha.
“ACE revolves around the idea of giving an unforgettable shopping
experience. The programme comprises of many components such as
motivational speeches, special training sessions, inspirational video
screenings, outward bound activities and reward schemes aimed at
propelling customer service to the next level the Director/General
Manager of Alpha Orient Lanka, Graham Merricks stated.
“Providing extra special customer service is mutually beneficial for
the customer as well as the company. We believe that delighted customers
will speak of our services with their colleagues etc and act as
Alpha-ambassadors”, he added.
Greetings with refreshments and face towels, shop floor telephone
assistance to call taxis or hotels and the opportunity to enjoy the
services of efficient and friendly personnel are a few benefits that
Alpha Orient Lanka expects to offer through the ACE programme.
An effective customer feedback monitoring system too has been
introduced along with the launch of ACE. Feedback forms as well as
24-hour telephone and SMS hotlines have been set up to for customer
complaints and comments.
Meanwhile, Alpha Orient Lanka in collaboration with Himalaya has
launched the Alpha - Himalaya Duty Free Shop Promotion which entitles
Alpha customers to win a Himalaya Orbitrac Exercise Machine through
shopping at the Colombo Arrival Lounge.
