For the first time in Sri Lanka, Bartleet Trans Capital Limited has
launched a holistic financial plan (investment plan) to the public,
which is known as the “Wealth Factor’ investment plan.
“This seems to be the method of lessening the chances of depreciating
the value for investment, when considering inflation and other volatile
factors in economy, when designing the plan,” its Director/Chief
Executive Officer, Indrajith Fernando said.
He said that age is not a barrier to contribute to this wealth factor
investment plan and anybody including senior citizens, retired people
and wealthy people could join in the process.
“More than 20 people have joined with the company on the wealth
factor investment plan. Therefore, the company has set up a special unit
with professional advisors/staff to help the customers to design their
futuristic plans,” he said.
According to Fernando investment/financial plan is designed based on
the suitability of the person’s wealth and other income factors
including monthly and annual income levels.
Their professionals in the company would advice them by considering
the external and internal financial depreciation factors of their
assets. “This could be used as a prudent pension fund/scheme to any
category of people in the country,” he said.
This wealth factor investment plan system is mainly operated in many
developed countries in the world and the company is now in the process
of signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with one of world’s
leading professional investment services companies shortly, Fernando
said.
A well advised wealth investment plan could be substituted to an
insurance, pension or any other retirement scheme, as it is a good
solution to the high inflation and interest rate factors locally as well
globally, Fernando said.
He said the most popular approach now is diversified asset class
investment security. The new asset class approach refers to the type of
investment for general shares, property, and fixed interest cash as
well.
The wealth factor investment plan minimises the occurrence of risk
factors as professional advice are giving advice is given taking
internal and external asset depreciations into account, he said.
