Fonterra Brands Lanka has invested Rupees 1.2 billion on their new project to expand the yoghurt manufacturing capacity and treble its supply of raw milk.

Nestle to top Rs. 1 billion in local milk purchases

Nestle hopes to pass the Rs. one billion mark in local milk purchases this year Managing Director Nestle Lanka Limited, Stewart Young said. He said last year they had purchased 35 million litres of milk from over 550 farmers and this year they would pass the 36 billion mark in milk purchases.
