Case filed against Prabha over Kadirgamar killing
A case was filed against LTTE leader Velupillai
Prabhakaran, LTTE Intelligence Wing leader Pottu Amman and another
three former LTTErs before the Colombo High Court in connection with
the former Foreign Minister Laxman Kadirgamar assassination.

the Wellawatte bomb blast on Monday morning which killed a civilian

Army Commander in Yala for security review
Security Forces serving areas in the deep South
received Army Commander Lieutenant General Sarath Fonseka yesterday
who was on an inspection and review tour to the Yala area. The
visiting military chief on his arrival was welcomed by Area
Commander for Hambantota, Colonel Devinda Perera and other senior
officers before they commenced their progress-reviewing meeting in
relation to security matters in the Hambantota District.
