Ananda College, Colombo obtained an exciting first innings win by 32
over Maliyadeva College, Kurunegala in their inter-schools cricket match
played at Welagedara Stadium, Kurunegala yesterday.
Ananda College made 220 runs for their first innings. Maliyadeva in
reply scored 188.
Ananda College: 220 (R. Wijetunga 92, M. Perera 36, I. Wickramasinghe
27, Wimanga Perera 4 for 33, D. D. Madhumal 2 for 32.
And 271 for 4 (R. Wijetunga 114, U. Peris 73, Wimanga Perera 2 for
62, D. D. Madhumal 2 for 70).
