All set for Deyata Kirula mega exhibition

Finance and State Revenue Minister Ranjith Siyambalapitiya yesterday
said arrangements are in place to ensure maximum security to the people
visiting the Deyata Kirula Rata Dinana Heta Dinata development
exhibition which will be open from February 04 - 10 at the BMICH.
Addressing the media at the BMICH, Minister Siyambalapitiya said
school children in uniform and their teachers will have free entrance to
the exhibition while adults have to pay Rs. 20 for an entrance ticket.
All Proceeds from the exhibition are expected to be channelled to the
President's Fund.
The Sri Lanka Transport Board and the Department of Railways have
made arrangements to launch additional bus and train services for
exhibition goers, he said.
The exhibition consists of three categories namely Corporate, State
and Foreign sections.
Many countries have expressed willingness in participating the
exhibition.
The private sector has been given an opportunity to sell their
products at this exhibition.
State institutions has been apprised to make use of this opportunity
to exploit market avenues for their products, he said. Minister
Siyambalapitiya said many competitions such as essay, debating
competitions among the schoolchildren have already been held parallel to
this exhibition.
The exhibition will be open to the public from 5.00 p.m. to 12
midnight on February 04 and from 10.00 a.m. to 12 midnight on February
05 - 10. Sri Lanka Telecom and Ceylinco Consolidated will be the main
sponsors.
