Centre careful about LTTE activities in Tamil Nadu?
India?s National Security Advisor M. K. Narayanan
said the Centre was ?careful? about LTTE?s activities, both in Tamil
Nadu and the rest of the country and praised the State Government
for firmly dealing with the naxalite problem.

Six LTTE cadres killed
Six LTTE cadres were killed by the Security
Forces in two isolated clashes in the North yesterday morning. a
haul of weapons too was recovered, Military sources said. The
Security Forces launched an attack ahead of Nagarkovil FDL yesterday
at 7.00 a.m. "An LTTE bunker was completely destroyed. Three Tiger
cadres were killed in the attack."
