Top Int'l post for Buddhi

National Craft Council Chairman Buddhi Keerthisena has been appointed as the Treasurer of World Batik Council at its annual conference held in Malaysia recently. He is a founder member of this council and was unanimously appointed to this post.

Meanwhile founder Batik craftman Eric Suriyasena was appointed as a committee member in the Finance Committee. (RK)

Singer Finance Kandy Branch opened

Chairman Singer Finance (Lanka), Hemaka Amarasuriya recently opened the Kandy. Branch office in a new premises at Kandy. Branch Manager Pradeep Boange was also participated. Singer Finance is a fully owned subsidiary of Singer (Sri Lanka) and a registered Finance Company in Central Bank of sri Lanka.
