MBSL profits on upward trendMERCHANT Bank of Sri Lanka Limited (MBSL) recorded a net profit of Rs. 120.3 million for the company and a net profit of Rs. 136.4 million for the Group as a whole for the 9 months ended September 30, 2005. Fitch affirms Nations Trust Bank's 'A-(sri)' ratingFITCH Ratings Lanka Ltd (FRL) has affirmed the 'A-(sri)' (A minus) national Senior Unsecured Long-term rating of Nations Trust Bank Ltd. ("NTB"). The rating outlook is stable. The A-(sri) rating denotes a low expectation of credit risk. The capacity for timely payment of financial commitments is considered strong. |
