The Finance holds luncheon AGM

THE Finance Company Limited (TFC), Sri Lanka's oldest finance company under the Ceylinco umbrella held its Annual General Meeting in an extra ordinary manner yesterday (13).

This may be the first of its kind as far as Annual General Meetings of Sri Lankan companies are concerned as it was held as a luncheon AGM.

TFC celebrates its 65th Anniversary this year, has recorded the highest ever profit (Rupees 251.8 millions after tax) in the company history, which is 117% increase over the previous financial year.

This was made possible under the Leadership of Chairman Ceylinco Consolidated Dr. Lalith Kotelawala,. S P C Kotelawala, Deputy Chairperson and Deputy Managing Director and CEO of TFC Padmini Karunanayake.

The Company was established in 1940 and is the oldest non-banking financial institution in the country.
