All the products supplied by Bosch carries a three year warranty. The
lines collection of standard box, bullet and dome cameras which comes
with free software up to 16 channels, were showcased. “We also
specialize in HD Dome Cameras, which offers sharpness and clarity. Some
HD units capture more detail and acquire a wider range of viewing when
compared to SD cameras. Bullet cameras also can accommodate removable SD
cards with storage from 4GB to 32GB,” David Chu, Sales Manager, Security
Systems and Export Markets, Bosch explained.
Bosch Security Systems had experienced phenomenal success from the
past year with the launch of its Advantage Line through out the Asian
Pacific region. With a global turnover of 52 billion Euros, Bosch
invests 10 percent of its product sales volume on research and
development. Bosch witnessed a six percent rise in revenue from 2008 to
2012. The market share for CCTV products in Asia Pacific alone had been
reported at 502 million Euros in 2011.
Since the company’s inception 126 years ago, innovation and
robustness has helped Bosch stand differently from the competitors and
it also endeavours by conducting training and support for both,
installers and end-users alike. With continuous attention and research
on market trends, CCTV and fire alarms remain a bigger category which
will continue to grow.
“Bosch focuses on the way its products are positioned in the market
against its competitors, together with competitive pricing, producing
more marketing tools and sales enablers, innovation on consumer oriented
and attractive packaging, teamed with cooperative distribution partners
and accuracy of branding tools that help in assisting with marketing and
distribution, Director, Business Development Channels, Bosch Security
Asia Pacific, Surajit Biswas said.
So far, Bosch has catered to a number of projects in Sri Lanka, among
them being the installation of CCTV surveillance along the Southern
Expressway from Colombo to Galle and extending to Hambantota. |
