FCCISL website for Entrepreneur Awards Ceremony

THE website for the Sri Lankan Entrepreneur awards ceremony 2004, conducted by the Federation of Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FCCISL) was launched on Monday. The media sponsor for the event is Associated Newspapers of Ceylon Ltd.

The FCCISL hopes to give special emphasis on entrepreneurs who were affected after the tsunami and have got back to business. "We want to focus on their recovery," said the President of the FCCISL Navaz Rajabdeen.

He also said that the momentum for the awards ceremony is picking up in the Northeast as well and they are expecting more applications this year.

Awards for the Sri Lankan Entrepreneur of the Year, will be given in Micro, Small, Medium, Large and Extra large Enterprises, within the identified agricultural, industrial and services sectors. In the case of multiple activities, enterprises are classified according to its main business activity.
