PSC will decide on Amendment - President
The Parliamentary Select Committee will look in
to the constitutional amendments with regard to the 13th Amendment
and whether they are necessary or not, said the President, and he
said it is the body empowered to look into the issue. He added that
there was no particular Indian concern on the issue of the 13th

UNP new constitution to Minister Sirisena
United National Party General Secretary Tissa
Attanayaka handed over the UNP’s new constitution to Sri Lanka
Freedom Party General Secretary and Health Minister Maithripala
Sirisena recently at the SLFP headquarters. Minister Sirisena stated
that he will hand over the UNP’s new constitution to the Central
Committee of the SLFP for study and thereafter the SLFP will declare
its opinion on it.
