Lumbini win by 16 runs on Parabola system

Lumbini Vidyalaya beat D S Senanayake Vidyalaya, Colombo on Parabola System by 16 runs in their inter-school under 17 division one tournament cricket match played at BRC grounds.

Lumbini skipper decided to take the first lease of the bat and scored 195 for 7 with Vimukthi Ellegoda 77 and Tharusha Iddamalgoda 68 and in reply DSS were 165 for 7 with A Ingram unbeaten on 58 runs.

Lumbini - 195/7 in 41 overs (Vimukthi Ellegoda 77, Tharusha Iddamalgoda 68 n.o, Janith Dias 20, I Kasthuriarachchi 2/27, R de Silva 2/16).

D S Senanayake - 165/7 in 36 overs (T Waidyasekera 43, A Ingram 58 n.o, Tarusha Iddamalgoda 2/22, Thanuka Dabare 2/41).
