Dengue eradication in Galewela

A dengue eradication programme was launched in Galewela by the Galewela MOH office in collaboration with the Police Environmental Unit and the Pradeshiya Sabha. Restaurants in Galewela town were checked and educated on keeping their premises clean, free from mosquito breeding sites.

The authorities told restaurant owners that legal action will be taken against them if they fail to keep their business premises clean.
