BOC’s 500th ATM opens in Matara
Bank of Ceylon, opens its 500th ATM at the District Secretariat of
Matara today. BOC’s island wide ATM network provides a greater
convenience to its customers. Bank’s ATMs are at branches and service
points offering uninterrupted service 24-hours, 365-days to customers.

BOC ATM network is linked with Visa, Visa Plus, Master, Cirrus and
Maestro and therefore the bank’s customers could operate through any ATM
in Sri Lanka as well as millions of ATMs across the world.
ATMs facilitate cash withdrawals, balance inquiry, and obtain details
of transactions as well as settlement of utility bills (water &
electricity) to customers.
Bank of Ceylon has invested heavily in expanding their touch points
and network since the bank is committed to providing its customers with
a quality and efficient service.This was one of the milestones of the
bank’s commitment to developing the ATM network to shape the bank for
the future.
Also, Bank of Ceylon is the largest issuer of ATM cards in the
country. BOC ATM cards consist of 14 Plus, 18 plus, Kantha Ran Ginum,
BOC Savings, NRFC account holders, Senior Citizens and Prestige Plus
Professional Current Account holders and other personal current account
holders as well. It is one of the most convenient ways of making
payments over 13,000 outlets in Sri Lanka.
Also payments could be made in over 22 million outlets worldwide.
This facility is available around clock for the customers who have
BOC ATM cards.
