Help identify child

Police seek public assistance to identify the parents of an infant found abandoned at the Private Bus Station in Bastian Mawatha Fort. A woman who found the male infant has handed it over to the Fort Police.

The infant appears to be around five months old. It was secured at the Panadura Prajapathi Children’s home after being produced before the Battaramulla children’s magistrate court. The magistrate ordered the police to obtain media assistance to publish a photo of the infant in order to locate its parents or anyone connected to them.

The boy with fair skin, short hair was in a yellow T shirt and shorts at the time of its disicovery by police. Police request the public to contact the Fort Police on 0112421515 or 0112323677 with any information.
