Ridge cutting machine: ministry assists inventor

The full cooperation of Technology, Research and Atomic Energy Ministry has been extended to develop the new innovation of ridge cutting machine by Pubudu Dinesh Anuruddha of Mihinthale Central College, Anuradhapura, who won the first place at the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair 2013.

Minister Patali Champika Ranawaka appreciated the innovation of Pubudu Anuruddha and instructed ministry officials to provide facilities through the Moratuwa University and the National Engineering and Development Centre to commercialise the Ridge Cutting Machine. Pubudu Dinesh is studying for the A-L examination in the Arts stream.
