HNB inspires its young leaders
Living upto its reputation for its commitment to continual investment
in capability development, Hatton National Bank PLC (HNB), Sri Lanka's
premier private sector commercial bank recently launched "Aspire" a
specialized leadership programme to develop high potential talent in the
Bank.

A strong advocator for providing opportunities for employee growth
and job satisfaction, the Bank's business philosophy has always been to
look beyond the conventional to innovation and inspired action.
The Bank actively strives towards the creation of a culture of
learning, one that is built on a firm foundation of knowledge, skills
and attitude. In nurturing people to know "how it works" HNB believes in
effectively utilizing Training and Development as a tool towards
creation of high levels of functional and emotional aptitude.
Having identified the critical importance of developing the high
fliers to face future leadership challenges, HNB has continuously
invested in Management Development Programmes to enable young officers
to sharpen their leadership, managerial personality development.
A group of young leaders of the Bank, from HNB's island-wide branch
network participated in the first phase of the "Aspire" programme at
MIMT, Thulhiriya. The programme was conducted by Ian McMaster of BRC
Partnership:BRC Lanka, a renowned learning and development consultant
with over 25 years experience of leadership and management coaching.
BRC Partnership is a Northern Ireland company specializing in
professional services with expertise on world class management and
leadership training. Well known in Europe, the company had signed a
joint venture to provide management training and coaching in Sri Lanka
last year.
