Siddhalepa triumphs in Czech Republic
Siddhalepa has made arrangements to establish a chain of Siddhalepa
spas in Europe, A state of the art Siddhalepa spa will be opened in
Spain shortly.
The Centre, which provides the services of Siddhalepa Ayurvedic
physicians and therapists, is as popular as other Siddhalepa spas
operating in Frankfurt, Berlin and Bad Shandau in Germany and in
Slovakia.
In April 2007, Siddhalepa established an ayurvedic spa at the Crown
Plaza Prague Castle in the Czech Republic. Later, it developed into
Siddhalepa s.r.o., a registered company in the Republic that popularized
the Sri Lankan Ayurveda, way of life both in Czech Republic and in the
rest of Europe, At present, Siddhalepa operates its spa successfully at
Hotel Savannah which is one of the luxurious hotels in the Czech
Republic.
The Siddhalepa spa in Europe have contributed to promote medical
tourism to the country and the guests from that part of the world not
only prefer to stay in ayurvedic health resorts but also buy ayurvedic
medicines and pamper with true ayurvidic treatments.
This is a valuable foreign exchange earner. Realizing this Minister
Basil Rajapaksa on his recent visit to Czech Republic proposed the
setting up of a joint operation committee with Czech and Sri Lankan
representatives to promote tourism.
Minister of Economic Development Basil Rajapaksa played a significant
role in the matter of sending Sri Lankan Ayurvedic physicians and
therapists to the Czech Republic, without which it would not have been
possible to maintain the Siddhalepa spa there. His recent visit to the
Czech Republic contributed to the successful running of the Spa as his
diplomatic intervention resulted in granting employment visas to
Siddhalepa staff.
