Alleged fraudster granted bail

An employee of Thunder and Neon (Pvt) Limited remanded for allegedly cheating the company Rs.1.6 million in connection with several business transactions was granted bail by Nugegoda Chief Magistrate and Additional District Judge Ajith M Masingha.

The judge directed the suspect to furnish a cash bail of Rs 5,000 and a bond of two sureties worth Rs.1,000,000 each.

The case will be called again on June 13.
