CASL awards training partner status to Singer, Sanasa

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CA Sri Lanka) recently received a tremendous boost following the appointment of Singer Industries (Ceylon) PLC and Sanasa Development Bank PLC to its diverse training partnership portfolio.

At a ceremony held at the Institute’s Colombo seven premises, CA Sri Lanka Vice President Arjuna Herath awarded the strategic level training partner certificates to D. M. Wickramasinghe, Manager Financial Reporting of Singer Industries and G. P. Samantha, Assistant General Manager – Finance of Sanasa Bank.

Accordingly, Singer Industries (Ceylon) PLC and Sanasa Development Bank PLC will provide practical training to students who are following the CA Sri Lanka chartered accounting course at the strategic level stage.

Chief Executive Officer of CA Sri Lanka Aruna Alwis, Chairman of the Students Training & Development Committee T. Dharmarajah, and the committee’s alternate chairman Sanjaya Bandara were also present at the event.
