Speaker directs Agriculture Ministry to look into farmer grievances

Speaker Chamal Rajapaksa, yesterday directed the Agriculture Ministry to look into the grievances of the paddy farmers without further delay. He made this direction when P Harison MP raised a question from Agriculture Minister Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena, as to why paddy had not been bought from paddy farmers after Sinhala New Year.
