The Associated Newspapers of Ceylon Limited (ANCL), also known as
Lake House is dedicated to provide high quality publications, said ANCL
Director Editorial Seelaratne Senarath.
He was addressing the launching ceremony of Muthu Ahura 3 monthly
publication, held under the patronage of ANCL Chairman and the Managing
Director, Veteran Journalist Bandula Padmakumara at ANCL premises
yesterday.
“ANCL never publishes low quality publications or controversial
news,” he said. People of this country are indebted to ANCL for its
great service rendered for a long time to the nation,” said the Director
Editorial.
He said under the leadership of Chairman Bandula Padmakumara, ANCL
has achieved great success. As he is a newspaper journalist in the real
sense of the word, he allows only high quality publications, he said.
Addressing the occasion, a teacher of Sangamitta Balika Vidyalaya
said even though there are a number of newspapers in the country, people
buy Lake House papers with confidence. “We have seen a number of
newspapers but ANCL newspapers are attractive and colourful which
provide good content,” she said.
ANCL General Manager Abhaya Amaradasa, Director Administration and
Legal Rasanga Harishchandra, editors, heads of departments and grade
three students of Sangamitta Balika Vidyalaya participated.
