Entries called for Red Cross Road Run Race

The Sri Lanka Red Cross Society will conduct the Red Cross Road Run Race on May 8 in Matara to commemorate World Red Cross Day. Four main events including 21km men’s open race, 10km women’s open race, 10km under-20 men’s race and a 2km fun run will be worked off.

Entries will be accepted till May 4 and applications should be addressed to Col. Sudath Madugalle, Deputy Director General, Sri Lanka Red Cross Society, No 104 Dharmapala Mawatha, Colombo 07.

Attractive cash awards are on offer for the winners and seasoned athletes and many fresh talents are expected to take part in events.
