Sampath steers Lankan CC

An allround performance by former Cambrian Sampath Mahesh, an unbeaten 43 and 2 for 31 enabled Lankan Cricket Club to beat Royal Cricket Club, Wattala by three wickets in their inter-club division three tournament cricket match organized by Sri Lanka Cricket and played at Prince of Wales’ College grounds.

Batting initially visitors were all out for 161 runs with Akila Malintha scoring 38 and in reply homesters made 167 for 7 and Dilshan Amerasinghe too contributed 39 runs.
