Sri Lankan fishermen arrested in Andra Pradesh

Eleven Sri Lankan fishermen were arrested yesterday when they illegally entered the waters near Kakinada sea port in Andhra Pradesh's East Godavari district.

"The 11 Sri Lankan fishermen came in two boats with some equipment to venture into the sea. They entered illegally into the waters," Kakinada Marine police said.

Two boats and some fishing-related equipment were also seized, they said.
