SAP secures 50th customer in Sri Lanka

SAP’s Sri Lanka partner of 10 years, The Capital Maharaja Organization (TCMOL), announced that it will implement SAP ERP, Business Intelligence (BI), and Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC) solutions across its companies. This implementation comes in parallel with SAP establishing a stronger footprint in the market with The Capital Maharaja Organization Ltd. (TCMOL) becoming its distinctive 50th customer in the island. Accelerating its presence with a rapidly growing customer base, SAP is increasingly seen as the innovative solution provider with diverse offerings for customers anywhere, anytime.

“Having worked with SAP as a partner for over a decade, we have seen how the Sri Lankan market has grown to accept their solutions as the industry standard. We undertook an extensive selection process and are glad to choose SAP and become their 50th client in the country”, stated Eshini Mudalige, Group Director– TCMOL.

“With interests in a wide array of businesses ranging from manufacturing to media to packaging, we needed a robust solution that is capable of handling a diverse set of demands. After weighing our options, we found SAP’s solutions to be better aligned to our needs. We are confident that SAP solutions will help us integrate our systems and provide us insightful business analysis thereby enabling faster strategic decision-making which will help deliver superior products and services to our stakeholders.” , she added.

Moving away from several legacy systems, TCMOL will be able to streamline businesses processes under a unified platform. The Group’s companies would now be able to leverage their collective synergies using SAP ERP, the core of SAP’s Business Suite, which incorporates Finance and Business Operations functions within one application hub.

This would facilitate improved forecasting with better financial data made available through SAP Business Planning and Consolidation that allows flexible planning, budgeting, and forecasting to improve organizational agility, combined with management and legal consolidation capabilities.

“SAP has been offering cutting-edge solutions across businesses in Sri Lanka for over 15 years. We are focusing on consolidating our engagements with customers and partners like The Capital Maharaja Organization, our partner for several years and now our 50thcustomer, who has chosen SAP as the key solutions provider using SAP ERP, BI and SAP BPC portfolio to achieve better, faster and smarter business results,” said Priyadarshi Mohapatra, Vice-President–Ecosystems, Channels & General Business, SAP Indian Sub Continent.
