Museum theft:
Bed sheet used to gain entry identified
The mistress of the principal suspect in the
museum theft case Lansage Priyantha Mendis alias Kangatta identified
before Additional Magistrate Sandun Withana yesterday the bed sheet
allegedly used to gain entry to the museum as that belonged to the
suspect.

Indian Naval, coast guard ships in Colombo
Indian Naval ships, “INS Sujata”, “INS Tarangini”
and Coast Guard Ship “ICGS Varuna” arrived at the Port of Colombo on
April 17 on a training visit. The ships were welcomed by the Sri
Lanka Navy in accordance with Naval traditions on arrival.
