Maths teacher remanded for abusing pupil

A maths teacher accused of abusing a 14-year-old school girl in Kohuwala was remanded until April 10 by Nugegoda Magistrate Ajith M. Masingha. The teacher aged 24 is from Giranduru Kotte.

Kohuwala Police reports said the girl was abused by the teacher at her home during a visit for private tuition.
