Lankem Robbialac launches ‘MawpiyaPranama’

Lankem Robbialac PLC recently launched a novel initiative whereby its customers from all parts of Sri Lanka can now win from a range of all-expenses-paid pilgrimages to different religious sites.

Director Lankem Ceylon PLC, Ruwan T. Weerasinghe unveils the MawPiya Pranama logo at a recent launch. Also in the picture are (L to R) Dilukshan Jayasekera (Product Manager), Chandana Herath (Manager Brand and New Product Development), Darshana Abesinghe
and Manjula Batagalle.

Almost all consumer promotions are generally very customer-centric. However, as its name suggests ‘MawpiyaPranama’ offers children the unique opportunity of rewarding and saying thank you to their parents or family elders with a pilgrimage, for making their lives colorful during their youth, and thereby making a dream come true for many.

Director Lankem Ceylon PLC, Ruwan T. Weerasinghe said, “Mawpiya Pranama is a Sri Lankan first and affords our fellow citizens the opportunity of making the dreams of their parents and family elders come true. It is with great satisfaction that we endeavor to make the lives of our mothers and fathers more meaningful and colourful. With its three decade rich heritage of reliability and the trust it has built among millions of Sri Lankans, we’re committed to making Robbialac a member of our customers’ families. This underscores the fact that Robbialac adds value to one’s life and parallely respects parents and family members as opposed to merely providing colour. Not only does Robbialac add colour to life, but goes a step further and adds value to life”, Weerasinghe concluded.

The current ‘Mawpiya Pranama’ programme is focused on the Buddhist and Hindu sections of our community. The underlying idea is to select consumers who purchase more than 10ltrs of Robbialac Emulsion and Weathercoat and offer them tours to different places of religious worship during the respective festive seasons.

This initiative runs for three months and ends on May 31 where a total of 130 winners from the lucky draw will win pilgrimages to Dambadiwa and Thirupathi.

Similar draws will be held in August and December and will offer Robbialac customers the possibility of winning pilgrimages to Muslim and Christian places of religious worship.
