Elephant House adds refreshing
touch to 134th ‘Battle of the Blues’ : Elephant House
has once again signed up in support of the much looked
forward to annual cricket encounter between Royal College
and S.Thomas’ Colleges as the official soft drink, ice cream
and food sponsor. On March 7, 8 and 9, SSC grounds will see
supporters from both schools flocking in their thousands to
the SSC grounds to witness this nerve-wracking battle
between bat and ball. Interestingly this annual ‘Battle of
the Blues’ has evolved into a tradition, where students past
and present meet and reunite on the sidelines of this
‘showpiece of school cricket’, with some even making a
special trip home from overseas at this time. "Elephant
House as a brand is synonymous with youthful exuberance and
fun. At the same time it is a name that has been loved by
generations of consumers. This is why we take every
opportunity to support traditional sporting events like this
and encourage the true sporting spirit right from school
level”. Head of Beverages at Elephant House, JKH Vice
President Chandima Perera said. |
